well, no point in starting two threads.

firstly

I JUST HELD AN S700i !!!!!! ooooooooohhhhh

the slight whirr it made when you turned it on. its firm smooth body. the way it delicately twisted. wow

this is BY FAR the best phone to date. solid, quality, brill features. mmmmm. it even tilts a bit towards you when fully open. and it twists both ways. ! true design.

AND

i went into the 02 shop with my "i am gonna kick up a fuss" look. my friend gave me a z200 that didnt work, and she said the battery was duddled. but her mums battery worked. but the silly guy said it was water damage, which couldnt be fixed, and he said i would have to buy a new battery. EFF THAT. i knew he was right cos she sed she split a tad of lucozade on the back. (sorry esato, am i advertising lucozade? lol (like the bbc ) )

SO I WENT INTO THE CPW

and i said to the guy 'it just stopped working!', and sent it off. i got it back, with a new battery, on the warranty?!?!?!!? when it was clear that the battery had water damage cos the circle went red on the inside and the battery metal bits didnt look to well.

IDIOTS! NO OFFENCE IF YOU WORK THERE, IT WAS PROBABLY THE NEWCASTLE FOLK!
regards! - a free battery.

nope, but i guess before they started examining the phone they must have just checked if a new battery did the trick.

on the inside of the phone there is a little gold circle that goes red if in contact with water. the 02 repair guy knew this, the cpw repair centre obviously are a bit dum. you just have to act, as if you are innocent, and dont know a thing about phones but that you shoudnt swim with them!

So, you are bragging about having tricked them into giving you a new battery, even though you knew it was damaged beyond warranty?
I call that stealing!

well the CPW guys get paid to find out whats wrong with the phone. They obviously didnt do what they get paid for, its not stealing just exploiting lazyness

there problem, not mine

listen, when i walked into that shop, I KNEW that they would know it was water damaged. but i thought, what if my friend was lying? what if the phone was beyond repair? at least the cpw would have ak look at it and cost me for a battery.

there loss, not mine. do you really think that i knew they wouldnt check for water damage? of course not! i thort i better hand it in anyway and see what is really gone wrong and how much it would cost. just so happens they didnt check and just gave me a new battery.

there problem, not mine. it isnt stealing. go on, report me, have me arrested. its just a bloody battery for crying out loud.
