I used a K700i over the weekend to control a laptop via a bluetooth dongle, the laptop was plugged into a TV so when watching movies on the laptop i could use the K700 to control the mouse pointer, im lead to belive this is a standard function with the K700i, is there a program that can be used on p800 which would have the same effect? this would be an excellent adddition to the phone and make my presentations etc a lot easier to control

But has anyone managed to get it to control powerpoint?
That would have a major coolness factor when giving presentations, and would actually be useful at work.
Controlling a laptop music player from the phone you have in the same spot is not really that useful.

You can use a VNC client on your Pxx0 to remote-control your bluetooth-connected PC. You need:
1. VNC client (mysymbian.com).
2. TightVNC server.
I had a little initail difficulty getting it working - see this thread:

bluetooth dongle is a add-on tht u'd put in the USB port of ur computer to bluetooth-enable it.
I've used bemused to control winamp 2.91 (hate winamp 5!), powerpoint xp, windows media player...
