So.. peepzz..

It's been a while since R2L, does anyone got some info about the next firmware??

(personaly i think it will be the one that they use in the new S700.. cuz there is "not much" a diffrence between those two phone's)

Next firmware is R2AA003 and will incorporate a (simple) search function in the phone book which is a welcome addition plus auto save to sim and faster menus. Nothing else confirmed so far!

Don't ask for a release date, no one knows. You can get a version of it from Total MultiServer but I'd be a dubious about using that and wait for the online update service to have it.

Actually SE should release the new firmware (on Online Update) ASAP, since the bootleg online service (Total Server) have got it and currently use it for commercial purpose.

Total Server guy will benefit most if SE delays the deployment to Online Update Service.

If I were SE, I will counter attack these bootleg services by intentionally leaks the internal version (with some really nice features) which will expired after certain period (when expired display something likes "This beta firmware was expired, please contact SE Service Center") This will pissed off a lot of bootleg service's customers who paid for this beta firmware. By that time SE should release the new version on Online Service and Service Center.

R2AA003 is released in some countries already, like here in Sweden. It's first released to servicepoints before it's made available on the online update service.

i just called SE (in Holland) to ask about the new firmware, they didn't knew ain't shit about it! The dude was so surprised to hear about it that he made a note for his boss..

..then i asked about the most anoing bug of K700, that sound that it makes when you take a foto.. the dude says: "well on K700 the function to disable the sound was removed because of the privacy isue".. so then i'm like: 'is that feauter disabled on all SE phones?' he is like: 'ehmmmmm.. well on S700 u can turn it off....... well thank you for calling SE and GOOD BYE.. '
