just bought mine yesterday and i charged it for 4 but today and while im using it suddenly it switched off then i switched on again but after the screen saver the phone switched of again and it repeat happining the same till the phone become totally dead ..the proplem that i bought this phone outside the country and still our service center dont have any spare part for this phone ..any body faced this issue..

This happened twice on mine but has since stopped. You should contact the place you bought it from and inform them of the problem.

Sounds like a software problem so it shouldn't need and spare parts. Can the centre not provide a firmware upgrade?

thanks for the idea but unfourtenitly it didnt work .when they connected the phone the realise it couldnt identified which mean they cannot even download a firmware..what a bad luck ,i already sent an email to sonyericsson support and im waiting for thier reply i think this all what i can do .

the phone cannot be identified by the pc software to download the firmware ,cuz the phone totaly is dead not because of the firmware proplem..this is my understanding really i dont know techcnically much.

1> switch the phone off
2> take out the battery and SIM and stay for a while
3> put it back
4> switch on the phone.

i tried it but still not working .. even yesterday i charge it for 1 hrs but still the display black..
