Try renaming the file extension to mp4. I know it works with AAC files but the K700 has a codec for that. For someone to make a Java OGG player that would be a tremendous task and I would take my hat off (if I had one) to the person who could do it!
(I'm not saying its impossible but... ok it might just be impossible)

You can use an average bitrate of about 80kbps with AAC and still retain ok quality. You wont notice the difference especially with the crappy k700 earphones. There are some integer based java players around, i dont think MIDP tho. The applet would run fine on the hardware, the big prob would be accessing the handsets file storage thru java.
