Hi Everyone,
I have just got a new sony ericson k700i phone, but I have tried FIDO,Telus,NExtel and Orange, none of them work with the internet access.
I'm in Canada, the phone looks like bind with Orange itself. but I tried the Orange SIM , it doesnt' work.
any idea? any hints where could be the problem?

You can't just access internet once you get a gprs enabled phone. You first would have to call up your operator and ask them to activate it. Hope this helps. Anyway, welcome to Esato!

Many times you need to suscribe for limited/unlimited data/internetaccess with your cellphone provider. That usually costs a certain amount per month extra. Plus the phone needs to have the settings for it.

The internet access is ok now after they sent a txt messages to this phone, and I said yes,then it's ok. I didn't touch anything else. I would guess they might have already set the settings.
But new issue comes: My Java applcation doesnt' work which needs to syncing the data from the server. The application is using HTTP POST.
any idea about that?
