Or for the future, manage the process in Handy Explorer. It's a file explorer that allows you to preview supported formats (eg photos), and has a recycle bin.

If your photos are stored on your memory card, there is a way or retreiving your photos back even though you have deleted them.

Yes I've recovered them on my Duo using a similar program. Just need to treat it as any other memory device.
