Did someone say the opera browser does not need to be downloaded for the p910i? I cant seem to find any reference to it in applications

you can still download opera for the P910 but you might find you prefer the internal browser now since it supports small page rendering and is also jog-dial aware for moving between and selecting links on the page

Thanks masseur, so you recommend just keeping it the way it is then? I just thought every1 had said that it (opera)was better and that it came with the phone this time. But one bows to your better judgement, which is why I asked in here.I dont think theres a forum in the world that has nicer and more informed and helpful people than here.Stop me now b4 I cry.

there was this thread recently which maybe you are thinking of
Opera to be default browser in UIQ 3.0
and Opera might be on the P910 CDs but I don't bother with those usually
as far as I can tell the only benefit of opera now is the
accelerator service that Opera provide (for a cost) that reduces the amount of data downloaded to the phone for each web page

I have a P910 but find that there some sites which do not work with the built in browser which work fine with the Opera browser, I also find the Opera browser, renders sites more quickly, I do not think I have the accellerator option and certainly and am not paying for this.

I haven't found anything yet that doesn't work on the internal browser so would be interested to try. I connect using internet GPRS rather than wap GPRS but not sure how much difference that makes
