I am located in the US, and I really want to buy P910, but SE website says P910a won't be shipped out until mid-November. Is it worth waiting for P910a until mid-November, or should I just get P910i now? What exactly is different between the two?

Thanks.

just the frequency as far as I know

P910a GSM 850/1800/1900 MHZ
P910i GSM 900/1800/1900 MHZ

you can get the P910a now if you want to become an SE developer core member ($500 for membership)

P910a is now available in DevShop

In the US the 910i is what you would want.

I don;t think so... P910a - A being for Americas. There are no 900MHz GSM networks in the US, whereas there are several 850MHz ones.

Guess US has 850Mhz /1900 Mhz networks, right? P910a is the one for the US!

P910a - for North American market
P910c - for Chinese market
P910i - for the rest of the world.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Either phone will work here since the dominant GSM band is 1900. I've been trying to figure out exactly where the 850 band is used and how widespread, but there is very little info.

Use the P910a if you want to go with Cingular/ATT and stay in the US. Use the P910i if you want to go with T-mobile and travel internationally, because there are 900mhz bands in India and the Caribbean for example, while there is really no 850 outside Northamerica.
