Ok, before I get flamed I have done a search and read all the relevant threads I could find but I am still none the wiser.
Can someone tell me, in easy to understand terms...
Is it possible to erase the Orange K700i software and replace it with the 'standard' Sony Ericsson version?
I want to change my shortcuts which the effing Orange stuff won't let you do...

Well, did the upgrade with zero problems, however to be honest I don't think the standard SE software is any better. I still think the interface is just as slow and I also thought there would be some way of changing the the three desktop option quicklink bar things (the things that let you look at messages or start them, go to orange world etc) but instead it just gets rid of them altogether.
The one benefit though is you can assign the joystick directions to ny feature you want so I can go straight to my calendar in one push of the joystick...
However the
www.totalserver.net solution is great, would recommend it to anyone.
