its a piece of plastic that sits on top of the screen held on with a light adheisive its tough and if its scratched its ok as the screen below the layer of plastic is ok.

its a pice of plastic that scratches very easy and is HIGHLY expencive for what it realy is- if you mannage to put it on straight then the likelyhood is you have bubbles under it - and if it is straight and there are no bubbles then there will porobubly be a realy anoing pice of dust under it and if all them things are ok then you find it starts to go misty/scratched with wear and u haveto replaceit
my moto is : never ever trust anyone who clames they can put one on perfectly and it does not affect the screne at all because they are lier's
i have had my p900 for almost a year and i cary it in my pocket without a cace- without a screne protector and i usualy carry 2 or 3 keys in that pocker - there are a few scratches on the shell - but the screne is fine- no scratches - no wear and tear its fine- very hard to scratch
