> listening to music question - P910
Bookmark topic
Hi,
just a quick question, i want to listen to a few songs whilst i walk to work, only be like a 15 min walk so don't need like 3000 songs or anything...
what is the best method, still using OGG player or is the P910 mp3 player just as good / better now ?
thanks

the only reason for using ogg was because it allowed smaller file sizes with relativley same sound quality. I still use ogg player because file sizes are smaller and the UI of the ogg player is better and looks cooler with all the skins that are availble for it. No one seems to bother making them theese days.
So just to make sure you understand use which ever player you prefer i prefer ogg due to bettr UI and smaller file sizes. The music reproduction is dependant on the file type and format not on the players.

The music player is quite good but not the best.
It's the same as it was in P900 but both are much better than the P800s.
I find no need to use a 3rd party player

OggPlay For P800/P900/P910
Download V1.0 and V1.1
Install and run V1.0 this puts folders onto your phone that was omited from V1.1
Install V1.1 over V1.0

The music player that came with the phone is a good option. Just upload a few tunes and listen to them whilst walking to work. Simple and straight forward.
