> Uploading Games to k700i
Bookmark topic
ok...somehow by the grace of god, my K700i is finally syncing with my computer and FAM.
Ive been able to upload pics and MP3's into my phone...been wonderful...however i have a few games i would liek to upload but cant figure out how to...
In neither the "My Phone" directory or the FMA List is a "Games" folder for me to upload my games to...am i missing something?
I tried sending 1 game to the "Other" folder but it didnt recognize it as a game and it wouldent let me move it to the Games Folder. The games i have are in .jar format and im about 100% sure they can be played on the K700i...

This topic has been discussed several times already, I won't be surprised if this will be locked soon, or someone would tell you to SEARCH. Anyway just drag the .jar file into the root folder or right click on the .jar file and send it to your phone directly. Your phone will know where to put it.

Sorry, bit off topic but what do you use to transfer files to your K700?
What connection do you use to link the two?

Hmmm . . . but how I truly understand it . . .. me (then) transfer datas via Bluetooth (dongle), faster than an Infra Red device.

yea for some reason "Games" doesnt come up in the normal SE File Manager directory. So what i did was downloaded FMA from
http://fma.sourceforge.net/
works very well once u get it going...took me a lil while to really understand it
Im using the DSS-20, transfer rate is slow but doesnt bother me all that much. Once you install the FMA goto Tools -> Options and set the COM port to whatever COM port ur phone is linked to. Also make sure the Bite Rate is low...i have mine on the 57600 rate, it wouldent even connect to my phone with anything higher (which is what took me a lil while to figure out).
Once it finally connects to your phone, to be able to upload the games and applications, just click on Action -> Upload find the file you want to upload and douple click on it.

hey guys experiencing slow download rate over the USB cable ?
i had that problem too until i found this software "dateimanager".
i dont remember where i downloaded it from but gimme your e-mail id and i'll send the file.
It increases download rates upto 4 times original original se file manager software.
it worked for k700 and t610. it oughta work for the rest i think.
