Hi
I just got my P910 and I'm trying to decide with applications included in the P910i CD are worth installing, since I don't know any of them.
* Are these trials or retail applications?
* Which applications did you use instead?
AppForge Booster®.NET
AvantGo®
DateMate 2004
Handy Expense
HP Runestone
iGo QuickPoint
IM+
Media Viewer
MetrO
Mobipocket Reader
Opera 6.0Photo Editor
Promyzer
SplashID
SplashPhoto
Wayfinder Mobile Navigator™
WorldMate Professional
V-Rally *** This is a trial, I know that
Thanks!!

I guess it's just me but I'm tired of reading posts of people that had problems removing applications.
Anyway, I can't differentiate the retail versions from the trial versions before installing (or did I miss something?)

I tried Avantgo as I have been using it for years since my Palm V days and still use it in my iPAQ.
Its soooo soooo slow to update the channels on the P910 (as it was when I tried it on the P900) so I removed that very quickly and will stick wit hthe iPAQ version

LOL

I also know Avango from my Palm V.
Yes, it was not a fast experience at the time (don't know nowadays)

To be totally honest most of the software on the P910i cd roms aren't that fantastic, unless you just want to fill your P910i with a bunch of freeware or trial apps.

I *love* Avantgo! It's slow to update over GSM (but still worth it) but only takes a few seconds if synched through a PC.

MetrO is good although its not the full version. So what lets it down is the fact that you have to connect to your GPRS wap to download the bus and street information.
