Ok, my P910 has been on for about 60 hours now... and I still have about 20% battery left. I know that the last 20% doesn't last quite as long as the first 20%... but still... my P800 never gave me more than about 40 hours with regular use!!!

Still having a small charge left on the 3rd day is pretty good. The biggest thing I adjusted to was my screen brightness setting. I'm running it at 20% brightness only.

Here's the trick... jumping from 100% down to 20% makes you feel like you're staring at a dead screen. What I did was, on my first day, lower the brightness down to 90% the following day... down to 80% ... so on, and so forth... until you hit about 40%... then reduce it to about 5% increments... until you find it too dark... then bump it up 5% .. stop there. I got so used to my 20%, I feel that 60% is too bright already.

This also improves the 'black' of the screen as well... things "seem" to have better contrast at lower brightness settings as well.

This may not be acceptable for everyone... but it's something I like with the P910... considering the power hungry screen, I'm happy to be able to squeeze every last drop of battery life out of it.

Great idea! But isnt it weird and sad to use such tricks to keep a fone "alive" more then 3 days. Se should learn to use their knowledge at making batts just as u use your one to get such results. This message was posted from a T68i

You must not use it very much though.
Mine never makes it past a day & a half. I've used 5mb of GPRS today & a few hours of MP3s plus about 8 5-10min phone calls & 30 SMS

I've always lowered the brightness of screens if i can. Did it on my PDA, and do it on my mp3 player

I just wack it really low in one go... it doesn't take that long to get used to

@spuddle:
A P905, is a P900, with the P910 firmware flashed to it, enabling features like built in PDF, & Office doc. readers, support for PRO DUO Mem Sticks, and an improved internal web browser.

You can read more about it in this thread.
