Just wondering can anyone can give some info on this.
1) I have just ordered a datacable for transfering info and was wondering if I can update my phones firmware with this also?
(In yes contnue to question 2 if no the skip to the end)
2) Were can I download the software and is there instructions on how to install correctly?
3) How do I check what my latest software version is on my T630?

I know the last 2 questions have possible been asked more than enough, but I really did a search and scoured through the answers but no luck. Very sorry.

In order to be able to update your firmware you need to have either the DSS-20 or DSS-25 docking station. Anyway, I am not sure if you are able to update your T630... Perhaps someone else here knows it better than me!

if you have just bought it then, you just have to show your guarentee to them and Carphone Warehouse will update for free. The phone hasnt even been available for sale for a year yet so if you talk nicely they might do it if you did happen to buy second hand and not get the receipt.
Or just contact the person you bought it from for the receipt!?

Unfortunatley I bought it direct from T Mobile so I will have to fork out the £30 if my software is behind.

My version is R4E002...Seeing the latest I am guessing mine is way behind.
