SE replaced my P910i due to it being extreamly slow when opening up messages. I know there are talks about different software versions. However I wanted to know if this happened on your phone. On my previous one, if you turn bluetooth off, when you open the flip, you still have the bluetooth sign, but there is a red line going through it. On my new phone when you turn bluetooth off, the sign disappears.
What is your phone like?

With me the bluetooth sign remains there on my screen. Rather irritating. I hope the next firmware will take care of this.

on my phone, it only happens if you have paired devices. once you delete the paired devices, the logo disappears.
there should be an option as to whether you want the logo displayed or not...

I did the deleting the paired devices and it worked. I just cant remember if it was the same on the p900.

I have a P910i, logo stays on screen if paired devices exsist, if none and disabled then logo is gone. Cant see a problem to be honest. Although the option of weather it should be there or not would be nice as a check box so everyone is happy.

I wouldn't mind a

icon on my P900. Make it faster to turn on and off .

The whole point of this logo is to make the option more accessible, which it achieves. I can't really see downside. I think the whole bluetooth functionality is much better designed in the 910i, what with the option to switch between bluetooth audio devices more easily, and, using Magic Profiles Pro, I can use bluetooth more efficiently (I don't have to remember to turn it off) so the lack of "auto" option on the 910i is really no problem.

Ok, something I read in the manual... The P910 actually has no OFF mode in BT. When you set it to OFF, it's actually what used to be the AUTO mode... well, a modified version.
On OFF... BT beaming is automatic. Headset is disabled. To be honest, the OFF mode was actually more useless than the AUTO mode since when set to AUTO, the BT chip was off until the user initiated a transfer... it was more convenient for us that way.

I kinda like the presence of the logo there as it is more accessible than before. Therefore I hope a firmware upgrade gives us the option of deciding whether or not to display the logo on standby, not that I'm complaining though.
