I've tried searching this forum for similar problems, but can't find any..

After upgrading online using the SyncStation, the phone won't turn off.
Whenever I try, the displays goes black, then backlight on, then cycles a couple of times on/off, then the keypad light fades up, and finally the phone switches back on without asking for the PIN.

Reflashing did not help.
Clear all did not help.
Removing the battery did not help.

Now, can anyone here help?

@elc - Firstly, good to have you here at esato dude! 'Bout your problemo, looks like you just run-out of other choices here . . . but to, I guess, bring your fone to a certified SE Service Center . . . If, it will be fixed there, please . . . apply TLC (tender-loving-care) to your fone from thereon - OK? Good Luck!

@elc - . . . and just what so informative 'bout that? It's the most simple and basic way to 'kill' your fone here, don't tell me that you did not do that back there as your 1st option when you experienced your problem here mate !

Unplug the charger from the syncstation... This sometimes causes the phone to constantly switch on and off....
