Im talking about that lil plastic piece on the bottom of the phone that, i assume, is there to protect the outlet to the phone.

Ive owned 3 SE phones in the past and this is the 1st on with this on it...does it really do anything? I could see it being an issue if like a little rock got jamed in there...but im not planning on playing with my phone in a sandbox anytime soon.

Anyone else just remove this piece?

it looks like it can be removed by taking apart the phone (or just the front part of it)...

I dunno it just bothers me...hard to fit it into the DSS-20/25 stations and just extra work when having to charge it or put the hands free device into it

That cover also bothers me and now it's deformed already after all the opening and closing. But the phone won't look nice if you remove it. I wish they would have designed it in such a way that if ever you remove that cover, the phone would still look nice.

It did bother me for the first week but really I haven't noticed any problems. I still prefer it than having all the connectors showing.

On my first opening of this (brand new phone, had it for, like 4 hours) I almost ripped it off....since that moment I'm in a search for the most convinient way to remove it! And I don't really think that the looks of the phone will change so much....it'll look just like other phone which doesn't have this....what should I call it....GRRRRRRRR.......
