> Painfully annoying protective cover on K700i
Bookmark topic
Im talking about that lil plastic piece on the bottom of the phone that, i assume, is there to protect the outlet to the phone.
Ive owned 3 SE phones in the past and this is the 1st on with this on it...does it really do anything? I could see it being an issue if like a little rock got jamed in there...but im not planning on playing with my phone in a sandbox anytime soon.
Anyone else just remove this piece?

it looks like it can be removed by taking apart the phone (or just the front part of it)...
I dunno it just bothers me...hard to fit it into the DSS-20/25 stations and just extra work when having to charge it or put the hands free device into it

cut it with a scissors or a knife...

That cover also bothers me and now it's deformed already after all the opening and closing. But the phone won't look nice if you remove it. I wish they would have designed it in such a way that if ever you remove that cover, the phone would still look nice.

It did bother me for the first week but really I haven't noticed any problems. I still prefer it than having all the connectors showing.

On my first opening of this (brand new phone, had it for, like 4 hours) I almost ripped it off....since that moment I'm in a search for the most convinient way to remove it!

And I don't really think that the looks of the phone will change so much....it'll look just like other phone which doesn't have this....what should I call it....GRRRRRRRR.......
