I've had two sony K700i phones from O2 on their online contract. I LOVE THE PHONE! The first one had a malfunction with the games and battery. They sent me a new phone and the battery works much better on this and the games work. However *sigh* the back of the phone is loose so everytime i type in a nember the whole phone contracts and has the most annoyeing screech to it. Like nails on a blackboard:S. Also i've now contracted the problem common to other O2 users with this phone. The text recieving problems. When i contacted O2 the rather unhelpful women said all i could do was cancel the contract, Pick up a new one and then choose a totaly different phone. . . since they haven't solved the K700's problem. . . when i asked if i could change the phone when they finally sort out the problem she told me 'NO' not after the first 28days....I think this is slightly uneasonable dont you think? Since it is their problem the phone isn't co-operating with thier sim cards? Anyone got any ideas?

Welcome to esato! - if you are experiencing problems then possibly get in contact with the supplier
nope
free wap until they get it sorted
cheapest calls and best network as posted by oftel (official telephones thingy ma jingy)
its a great network - but if your having problems dont just give up! if your k700i didnt work for a while you wouldnt blast it and say it was rubbish!! you would just think there is a fault
humans are humans, machines are machines, almost nothing in this world is perfect, so dont expect to have no problems with your network!

Thankyou.....i didn't have problems with Orange though.....if this fault is inherent (forgive my spelling) wiht the K700i and O2 why are they still limiting the change period to 28 days? They've provided a dodgy piece of hardware so why cant they update my current handset when they sort out the problem...
I lke the phone alot, hence dont want to have to get a different handset....

Hey,
Yes there is an issue with K700i's and the O2 network, we have acknowledged this and are working on a fix, its basically part to do with the O2 firmware. We should hopefully have a fix for this soon.
The trial period is 14 days and if it goes faulty we exchange or you can choose another phone before 28 days, thereafter it had to be sent for repair.
