The screen on my p800 has gone strange at the bottom and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if i got a new screen could i use a p910i screen or would that fry my little p800
the pic isnt very good but i think you get the idea, the black bit doesnt look to big in the pic but it is in real life

My cousins has done exactly that but larger!
The touch sensing still works e.g. to press the message icon but u just can't see it.
You'll need a new screen to fix it. £50-60 for P800.
No u can't use P900 or P910 screen as they have too many colours & are not compatible

I think it may have damaged the screen causing the liquid crystal to leak & pool there within the layers of the screen or somethin.
I don't know enough about the screens though so I could be way off but that's the only theory I can come up with.

The screen is a sealed unit so there's nothing you can do but get a new scree or just put up with it.

I think you're right.
However, once you remove the screen, it'd be interesting to see if you could clean the LC up... Give it a try (after buying a new screen of course) And let us know how it turns out. Ive seen one much worse on a p800, the leak was up to the "asdfghjkl" line on the virtual keyboard.
