Hiya!
I'm trying to send MP3's to my P900 Memory Stick via Bluetooth from my Laptop (because the docking station is just too damn slow) How do I send it directly to the memory stick duo? Ive got a 128MB in there but everytime I try, it says I've got low memory so I'm guessing it's trying to send it to the internal memory instead.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'd appreciate some help.
Many thanks!

When you send anything via

or infrared it will directly go to the beam folder under 'Messages'. So the item is on the phone memory itself rather than on the memory stick. You can however, then move the item from the phone memory to the memory stick. But I am pretty certain, there is no way for you to send your MP3 via

to your phone's memory stick directly. Hope this helps and welcome to Esato.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the USB cradle transfer files faster than USB. However, the fastest way to put any files in memory stick is through a memory stick card reader, I suggest you go and buy one yourself as its pretty cheap nowadays and its XX times faster than infrared, bluetooth or USB cradle

right buddy, except for a smal slipa-finger... USB cradle transfer files faster than bluetooth.

Dude, grab a USB or PCMCIA memory stick reader for your Laptop. I just ran a couple of tests on your behalf and it's not all that much faster transferring via. BT than it is via. the dock. Not only that, there is no way (that I know of) to re-route BT file transfers to the MemoryStick rather than the P900's internal memory.
Here's the results of the test:
File transferred - 4.8mb MP3
Method: Via. P900 Cradle - Time: Approx. 3 1/2mins
Method: Via. Bluetooth - Time: Approx. 3mins
Method: Via. USB Card Reader (Direct Transfer to the MSD) - Time: Approx 10 seconds.
I'm using a Sony MemoryStick PCMCIA Card Reader myself (although tests were performed with a USB reader), which is slotted permanently into my Laptop, thus giving me an almost "built-in" accessibility for my MemorySticks. After RAM & WiFi, the reader is probably the best add-on I've given to my Laptop.

With Epocware filemanager you can use

to beam files directly to
the memstick. Might be other apps out there that also can do it.
