Is there anyway I can view avi's on 910 with purchasing a software (smartmovie,etc)

SmartMovie files are .avi files so get SmartMovie & install the codec on your P910i.
There is a trial version so give it a go.

oops sorry what I meant was without purchasing...i.e. someway I could view them in the default player itself ?
