has anyone realised that the battery charges up extremely slow from 95 - 100%, and that the battery bar already appears full when it reaches 95%. is charging meant to be stopped at 95%

0-95% = fast charging, 95 - 100% trickle charging
it takes a few hours to get that last 5%. maybe the battery indicator should still show that it's charging for the last bit. i just hook it up to the charger before i go to sleep, and when i get up it's a full 100%.

Not necessarily he might be on the night shift.

The reason it takes so long for the final 5-10% of charge to complete,is because of the batteries internal resistance increasing!when the battery is completely depleted, the internal resistance is low.when the battery charges, the internal resistance to current(amps)gradually rises.hence the reason the final bars seem to take an age to finalise mate.

Almost right but its not the resistance increasing, its the opposing potential.

I'm afraid i'm totally correct in what i said mate.may i add, that i have an hnc in electronic engineering+nvq2 and 3.perhaps you should read some literature, regarding cells/batterys?when you say potential, are you referring to potential difference(tech name for voltage)?
