Hi, i bought an unlocked 02 branded k700i from a webshop in germany, when i recieved it, it worked perfectly, however 24 hours later the two o2 specific icons disappeared and the phone would no longer play the 'kite' video that came with the phone, it would work for a few minutes then say playback failed.

I decided i would do a master reset, i did and it seemed to work, i tried to turn the phone back on and i got the welcome screen and then the screen went white and it rebooted and continued to do so unless i took the battery out.

Ive just rang the se service centre where i had sent it and they now say they cannot fix it and need to send it to another centre, i just told them to send it back as i am just going to get a refund, has anyone else had this problem?

I have the dss 25 docking station but i imagine thats no use as its an 02 phone

Welcome here! As i see the guy who managed the unlock wasnt an expert, and something went wrong. Send back the fone and get back the money, no need to experiment with it. Good luck This message was posted from a T68i

I had a problem that when the phone was upgraded to R2L firmware i could not turn the phone off....it would just instantly turn itself back on....its gone to SE for repair but they have replaced it instead....
