ahh...... good I loved sailor stories when I was younger
in fact I still do

Britsh navy ships used to have lemon nd orange juice on board to protect the sailors from scurvy. One good day, the British Navy replaced it by lime juice as it contained more of a certain essential acid (of which I cannot remember the name ) ad that is why originally british sailors and now british nationals are referred to as Limeys. From what I understand it is not a polite word though.., right?

Do i get the points?

YAY!!! Points!

Has the Guardian really had their readers write to individual americans to tell them how to vote??

Only the british would come up with a scheme like that.... that has got to be the most infinitely stupid idea I've ever heard!
