generally there are problems in new phones are firmware updates are supposed to address those but occassionally firmware updates do introduce new problems.

so, in general, you should really only update your firmware if you are experiencing specific problems that the firmware update is supposed to fix but most people here tend to update as a matter of course (me included!)

If you upgrade the firmware you will get better stability and fix some bugs...What do you think why are SE relasing new and new firmwares?Because they try fix the bugs in previous firmware...it is bettet do that periodically

At this point, nokia sucks. Any major and even not so - 'it's the new idea - ultimate nokia 66xx!'... But last time there were some good fw updates. This message was posted from a Nokia

I agree with @masseur, you should only upgrade your fw if you're experiencing problems that new fw is known to solve, unless you're loke the rest of us that just like to have the phone updated with the latest, but sometimes you have to pay a price for that.

They're supposed to @plasma, and most of them have, but sometimes they are designed to fix especific bugs of older versions.
