Hi all,
Just last night my o2 PAYG balance registered £3.03, which I thought must be wrong, as it was £3.83 a few minutes before. Then, I called my home phone temporarily, which apparently brought the balance down to £2.99. However, now I have just checked and it says £3.90 or something... Has this happened to anyone else? I use a p800...

We should be thankfull because if they could charge correctly we wouldn't enjoy free GPRS.
They tried to start charging it earlier this year but it all went wrong! People were getting charged a couple of pounds to send MMS!!

Hehe,

Thanks for the responses, and yes, I am thankful they can't charge properly...

This is a little off topic but an interesting story none the less.
About 4 years ago I had a 3210 on Virgin mobile. This was back when virgin mobile had just started and the top up cards where really hard to come by. I very rarely topped it up as I was a poor student but the day I did need to top it up I had to walk about 3 miles to a garage that sold them. Then when I got there they only had £20 top ups which was a little steep for a student but I didnt have much choice. As soon as I got out the shop I called the top up line but instead of getting the top up line I was getting one2one customer service. Most of you will know that Virgin piggy back on the one2one now T-mobile network.
I kept trying and trying but couldnt get through. I was really p!ssed off because I'd walked 3 miles spent 20 quid and couldnt top up!
Any way to make long story even longer I thought just out of interest I would try and make a call. Having no credit I didnt expect this to work but low and behold, it did! At this point I was gobbsmacked and so started calling every one I knew just for the hell of it. It lasted 3 whole weeks and during that time, myself and my familly used it to call freinds and familly all around the world. Not only that but there used to be services advertised that would let you order and pay for things using a premium rate number that was charged at about £4/min so I took advantage of them too!
I must of ran up a bill of thousands!!!
I kept expecting this huge bill to land on my doorstep. It never did thankfully.
