Ok, visit the url above and you can find debranding instructions for the K700i. This is not my work but i asked the owner of irweb to make a step by step guide as people have been struggling.

Any questions then post below

thats a great guide thanks

one question you might be able to answer for me

my k700i was on vodaphone but has been unlocked - i am not able to use bluetooth properly and was told the se online update would fix this

do i have to unbrand the phone first before i update because i have tried updating it and it starts the initialising stage and then it says something about "the operator doesnt support this service"

will it work if i unbrand first or am i doing something wrong

cheers

Quick Question.

I realise the above is for the K700 and should work for the s700...but my phone is R3C002 and the all the falsh packages on http://www.totalserver.net/s700i.htm#import are R3B so it seems it is older than my phone......any ideas?

Cheers

@ZuluS700i

Was your phone supplied by Vodafone?

I've read that R3C is the Vodafone customised firmware and R3B is the unbranded firmware.

Have a look at this thread for more info.
