Is S700i screen is
much brighter than one in K700i?
Is the contrast level is in a way increased than one in K700i?
I'd like to change my K700i with S700i.. but if the difference between both screens are not much, I'll delay my plan....

I have both and I have to say that I find the screens on both mobiles to be of a high standard, although the S700, in my opinion, does have a better screen than the K700. Of course the S700 has more colours than the K700 and I think that this is probably what makes the difference, I have found both screens to be bright.
If you are thinking of changing your K700 for a S700 just for the screen then I don't think I would bother if I were you, but if you would use the other features of the S700 then I can recommend it as being an excellent choice.

ummm.. I don't really think that K700i screen is that bright.. My Z600 produces colors better and quite brighter - it has also more contrast colors. It only loses the game in resolution.
From your reply, I can assume that S700i screen isn't that bright either....

I really don't care if it's megapixel camera phone or not. The only thing I do care is the screen.. I love bright displays, I love vivid displays..
I was disappointed when I switched on my K700i for the very first time. The display is not as bright as my Z600, is not as vivid as that flip phone, too. Fortunately, K700i screen is so sharp! Something I'd never regret about.
However, I do love to have a phone with a display which at least has the brigthness level and colors produce of Z600, the resolution of K700/S700, and the contrast level of Motorola E398, but it must be an SE phone because I do love SE menu and SE themes. I guess S700i screen doesn't have it all..

I think the S700 screen is better than the K700, but I would second MixiN's advice and suggest that you go into a mobile phone shop and compare then first hand.
