Here's a new au phone, which apart from the 20mm closed thickness, appears to be pretty standard. Isn't the Motorola RaZr like 11.3mm closed?
Well, I guess au would win, because the A5507SA will be released long before the RaZr.
Also, what's this with screens' brightnesses being given now? 220 candelas? How the hell am I supposed to know how bright that is?
KDDI and Okinawa Cellular will release the "A5507SA," a Sanyo-made CDMA2000 1X phone with a compact body of 20mm, in early December. It is Open Price.
The "A5507SA" is a CDMA2000 1X phone from Sanyo that uses a compact body with a 20mm thickness, and has an internal antenna. It features a 2.1" QVGA screen at 220 candelas capable of displaying 260,000 colors as the main display, and a 33 x 100 dot subdisplay with a 1 inch size. It is furnished with a 0.33MP CMOS camera capable of reading QR codes. The phone supports EZ Appli (BREW), as well as "EZ Navi Walker" which can interface with QR codes. The data folder capacity is around 8MB< and the BREW folder is about 3MB.
"Low-teen" features such as "Junior Mode," "Timetable," "Allowance Diary," "Diary," and "Junior Dictionary" are included, and the phone can also be restricted in a couple different ways: URLs and phone numbers contained in emails cannot be reached, mail addresses cannot be written to, and the address book can be set so that mails from certain parties do not arrive. The "Timetable" and "Diary" functions can also be used in normal mode.
Also, the phone uses "Smart Mode," which will display frequently used functions using a menu setup. It is also equipped with "Pair Mode" to make it easier to reach frequently contacted...contacts by phone or mail. Up to 5 people can be stored inside Pair Mode, and the function can also dispatch an email all five people at once.
Other features include Flash support. Graphical contents and other things can be enjoyed. Hands-free talking is supported, and calls can be ended by pressing any button.
The continuous talk time is about 180 minutes, and the continuous idle time is 260 hours. The size of the phone is 47 x 93 x 20mm (W x H x T), and it weighs 102g. Three body colors will be available: Mint White, Citrus Yellow, and Shandy Silver.

isnt the razr already out? i am sure i saw one in phones 4 u and on the orange website
though i could be totally wrong
