> need help! (mp3 recognised as midi!)

all my mp3 files are regonised as midi file in my music player so it can't play at all unless u select it from file manager and play,it is so odd!I don't know how can this happen?? what should i do now?

The only thing I can think of is if they have .mid as file extension instead of .mp3

Did it ever recognise them as MP3 and suddenly they have changed or has it recognised them as MIDI as soon as they were put non the phone?
Has the phone successfully identified other MP3s?
