> Is SonyEricsson's P800 really worth getting?
Bookmark topic
Samsung Electronics and Panasonic have released hansdets that I think will lead the way for the rest. First of all, Panasonic's new handset has got all the features of the SonyEricsson's T68i and includes an inbuilt digital camera and boasts a 65,000 colour screen as opposed to the 4096 colour screen of the P800 and the 256 colour T68i. The new Samsung also boasts the 65,000 colour screen.
Do you really think P800 has to be purchased as soon as it hits the shelves or do you think its a wise move to wait for more and better handsets to be released? Opinions??

Sorry, i just cant get excited about the P800.
Not my style of phone, i have to say I prefer the 9210 to the p800, as it has a keyboard! But still I prefer my laptop and mobile!

At the end of the day you can never keep up with technology, the p800 looks to be a great phone but there are always better phones being designed. My opinion is choose a phone which best suits yourself and just stick with it. Alot of the improvments to these new upcoming phones are just extra colours and crap like that, these sort of things dont make a good phone. The p800 has almost every feature you could imagine and Panasonic, Samsung phones just lack so many of these important functions. If you can sacrifice a few colours and a few pretty sounding ring tones then i think sony ericsson's p800 and even t68i are well ahead of the rest.

What about the battery power?
Consider what you are saying. 65,000-color screen, all the features of the T68i = a battery DRAINER.
Take the T100 for example, great looking screen, but a lousy battery that a gameboy color can outlast.

Yeah well there are phones out there with better screens that are coming out but don;t you think that SonyEriccson will bring out new ones aswell, remember this Ericsson was one of the first or the first to bring out a colour screen, so they are going to meet the market maybe not this year but next year. Those brands like panasonic or samsung are not going to come close to doing better than ericsson or nokia, its a load of shit its like ericcson saying well now we are going to make televisions, what you think cause there good in one market that they would be able to suceed well in another. Well mate thats business it does not work that way, companies bullshit a lot about what they are going to bring out and have to offer but most of the time its all misleading just to get you interested into there products.
