Hey guys help me out here...my P900 is just not allowing me to lock the keypad manually..neither it is locking automatically..when the flip closed and menu button pressed I dont get the keylock function..it is not there..why?

In Control Panel/Locks do you have a tick in the "Automatic key lock" box?

Keylock does not function when on power supply.

two choices for this.

1. you have the charger cable plugged in during which time you cannot lock the keypad

or

2. you have the alarm bug for which you can read this thread for the solution which I quoted from my-symbian

Thanks a lot masseur! I just cancelled the an alarm which was set to go and now the problem is solved for me..wow..didnt have to even delete that file..

So is there really no way to lock the phone manually? I always liked to hold down the c button on my T68i before I put it in my pocket.

I think you can press options button then 1 numeric button or other which sets key lock. At least this works on P910i without any problem.

nkivett: Yeah there is press the 'more/options' button on the top right of the keypad then press the nr 1 button
and the keylock is activated. To deactivate press * instead of 1.
