Hi everyone, I am new here and want to purchase the s700i as it looks like a cracking phone. I especially want it because of the slick design, megapixel camera and general features.
However there is one thing which is bothering me. I have read conflicting reports regarding Internet browsing facilities for this phone. Some people tell me I can access the net (browsing general websites) and some say I can't. Could you give me a definitive answer please?
Also, I am going to be buying this phone SIM free and thus using pay as you go.
I will be using this phone in France and therefore will be purchasing a French SIM card whilst out there (vurrently in the UK). Will setting up the GPRS settings for web access be ok? I need to be able to contact home and therefore this phone is essential for me.
I also thought about the Nokia 7610, 6260 or the P910. Could any of you give me some advice PLEASE, I am desperate here. Thanks!

@Pegasus
First of all, welcome to Esato.
I can access some html webpages using my S700, but not others; the defining rule would seem to be the complexity of the page. As far as I can see the S700's browser is the same as that of the K700, so if you know someone with a K700 you could perhaps test it.
