Just got my new S700i today and am well pleased with it!!!!

Just one question though, does anyone know if you can have no camera shutter sound when taking a photo. It only gives you three choices from the setting menu when in camera mode, all are pretty loud and crap! put the phone on silent and it still happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Make a call and take the photo during the call.

@liamski

It's hardly deafening and I don't think that it causes 'a fuss'. You could always resort to issuing earmuffs to everyone in the vicinity when taking a picture.

The shutter sound is there so people know when you've taken a picture. Think of the new laws regarding child protection and public privacy and then complain. Having the sound at all times deters people from doing it. This message was posted from a S700
