Just niticed when the battery is in the Red, a blinking Red LED flashes under the power button!
Never noticed before

@spawney - I also made notice of that when I still had my SE K700i then with a stock - R2A . . . firmware mate! "For me" . . . -it looks like more of a warning sign that your batt's life is about to end, and charging the fone is very imminent! The green light as @bianca made mention when the batt is in full-charge is also visible with my fone . . . I guess this is just but of a normal procedure here mate. The Red and Green lights under the power button is more of a battery indicator dude.

In fact i dont even think there is a green LED (well i've never seen it)
Unless you mean the screen's LED which can be seen as a greenish LED from the power on button but thats the screen's LED not just one to say its fully charged isn't it???

I guess you are pertaining here to the 3 small green bulbs that are quite hidden, they in a way light the screen right? The GREEN led that is under the power button lits 'only' (me thinks) when the charging has been completed to a FULL, very evident during the fone's charging cycles !
