Hi I have just upgraded after killing my old p800 to a p910i. Overall I am very impressed as they have sorted a large no of anoyances I had with the p800 but I have a few ?s I cant seam to find the answers to in the manual.
1) Can you remove the nos on each photo above each contact name when in the telephone mode flip open screen that shows your 9 quickdial nos with photos.
2) I found the screen to adjust the brightness but when does the p900 use normal mode and when does it used dimed?
3) Is there anyway to adjust when the screen light fades off? Also can the light be made to stay on when in the cradle?
4) What is the car mode mentioned in the brightness screen and what triggers the phone to go into this mode?
5) I use different sims in my phone depending which country I am in. Is there a way to set or store the MMS service centre address & wap account per sim or do I have to manually change these each time.
6) The Phone auto locks sometimes - not sure what triggers it - where is this likely to be set? I use a bths with a holder in the car and this would be usefull.
7) I never had any problems with scratching the screen on the old p800 (until I stepped on it!) but the p900 screen appears larger and more open - is it more vunerable and if so what screen protector do people recomend
When I select the option to change the flip open shortcuts the first icon (messages) is selected and erroneously shows Tetris until I select another icon the reselect the messages icon and it then correctly shows messages - is this a bug?
Phone is running latest release SW R2A17 Organiser R2A16 CDA.

-I'm not sure what you mean. The P900 did not have this feature. The P910 has it so you can set it lower to preserve battery or so it's not so bright in the dark (e.g. in bed)

-You cannot alter the time to fade but you can set it to permanently on in Control Panel > Display > Power > Light (handheld)

-This is when you put the phone in a car handfree kit with cradle

-You can save wap messaging accounts but you must manually select the appropriate one each time and manually change the service centre address

-The phone lock after a period of inactivity. This can be set for both flip open/removed and flip closed.
Flip Removed: Control Panel > Display > Screen > Auto Input Lock
Flip Closed: Control Panel > Locks > Automatic Key Lock

-The screen is the same size just the phone is a little smaller making it look proportionally bigger. The flip closed area is bigger though.
There are many screen protectors available and here is currently a lengthy discussion on them

Use the large ? mark in the top of the window, everything's explained there. This mode is used when "Light (handheld)" is On.
