After having spent longer than I would have wished waiting on O2 technical support with no result whatsoever I thought it might be interesting to find out what lengths of time people have been kept waiting for when phoning various companies.

I don't think I've ever been kept waiting much more than around thirty minutes, so someone will no doubt be bale to beat that.

I'm not sure if that one technicaly counts; what was the longest you actually spent on the phone trying to get through at any one time?

Good grief! I can't believe you waited that long, mind you it is understandable; there comes a point, I think, when one just gets into a mood of defiance, determined to get through no matter how long one has to wait.

Same people as meths at Vodafone I suppose but I wasnt as unlucky as him cuz I've waited for 35mins which is scary but nothing compared to the 5 hours!!!!!
