Hi There!
Feeling miserable at the mo as i'm recovering from a knee operation and am housebound!!!
Anyway i have been thinking about Christmas and my Biorthday which is on Dec 20th. None of these occassions mean much to me anymore since my Mother died in 2002, it just is not the same without her.
Anyway my Fathers ancient Nokia mobile is in need of a replacement, he is so loath to to replace it as it is of sentimental value as my Mother bought it for him back in 1994/5. However the harsh reality is that it is no longer working properly and i am so sad that this has happened. So i was thinking of giving him my P900 with a new battery inserted. He hates the idea of a camera phone etc but as his fingers are getting worse with arthritis i rather think the P900 keys are good for him. My plan is to give myself a P910 to replace my P900. Do you think this is a good plan?
I don't want to upset my father becuase of the value that he and i both attach to his present mobile, but it is doing his business harm if the phone cuts out alot of the time!
Advice most welcome as this is really bugging me! Many Thanks !!

I think you would be better replacing his phone with something simpler or even another one like the one he has for sentimental reason?

Hmm good question! I am sure he can quickly adapt to the P900 as he teaches electical engineering, and worked as a radio officer in the UK Merchant Navy for 14 years, plus he is on the verge of getting his Phd!! I am so proud of him!!! I guess he is a luddite at heart!!!

You can give him your p900 or any other phone. Keep the Nokia your mother gave him around where he can always see it and cherish it. Good Luck.
