> K700i Unlocking Problem
Bookmark topic
Hi,
When I try to unlock my k700i with Total Multiserver, it will sent the preloader, flashloader and the GDFS Loader, it will then sit there doing nothing and eventually give th message "Error occured: 0x002B46"
It lets me load a firmaware image with no errors, but if I try to unlock or send a language or customisation file I get the same problem.
Please can anyone help with this problem?
Thanks
Marty

I debranded my vodafone k700i before unlocking it (not sure if this would make any fifference though) a couple of days ago no problem using Total server 1.30 and T28 cable from
http://www.faceoffmobiles.com. I would get in touch with whoever you got credit off for totalserver as they offer support.
You need to follow the instructions
http://www.totalserver.net/k700x.htm#decustom explicitally when debranding; you need to download the
Default Language file (k7d file extension) and not the
Language file (k7s file extension) when debranding and ensure the firmware and default language file are a matched pair for zone
http://www.totalserver.net/k700x.htm#langtimes (i.e K700_R2AA003_ZONE_1.K7S and K700_R2AA003_EU1.K7D)
www.totalserver.net
www.faceoffmobiles.com
I then unlocked the phone with no problems using the total server solution.

Turns out the problem was two pins on the inside of the Phone end of the T28 cable touching, bent them apart and all ok!
All unlocked and De-Voda'd!!
Thanks
