> P900 screen problem

Ok just today my P900 screen has completely died.
When I turn the phone off and turn it back on all i get is a lit up black screen.
The phone can connect to the network as normal but I can't see anything! I can still revieve calls and text messages but I can see them because of the lit up black display!
I tried taking batt out and leaving it for hours but the same thing still happens!
Anyone else got this problem? I still got 1 month left of the warranty so i might just ask for a S700i instead if they cannot fix the display.
