> PB with the Music Player on P910
Bookmark topic
Hello,
I've got a problem with P910's Music Player and I wonder if it is a bug or not.
I've put my MIDIfiles collection on a MemoryStick (and some in the internal memory).
Now each time I open the Music Player application, there's a long lasting message box which says "Updating the file list" (I've translated from french so it may not be the exact words). That's annoying because it's a long time to wait for nothing and it occurs each time the application is opened.
When this operation is finished, I CANNOT select the folders containing my MIDIFiles in the upper-right menu, whereas they're displayed.
Moreover it's simply impossible to add MIDI-files in the playlist.
The only way I found to play a MIDI-file is to use the "Manage file list" item in the upper-left menu but it's not convenient : you've got to select one single file and play it and do it again for each file you want to listen... but you can't make a playlist to play continuously.
That's quite frustrating ! So I'd like to know if it's a bug and if someone else can confirm the problem.
Thank you !
Regards,
- Éric -

the p900 & p910's music player only plays mp3 files. If u want to play midi files the only way to do it is under "manage files", where u can only play single files at a time. P800 was a lot better in that u could use music player to play files of all different formats & add to the playlist. Maybe a 3rd party app is available which will let u have midi files as well as mp3s in your playlist....
