Hey guys i wanted to know whats gmail.I have seen many threads on gmail but i dont know whats it.If you know than please let me know. Thanks.

its basically like hotmail. its a web based email account but you have a 1 gb storage account. Unlike hotmail which only has 2mb at the moment (will have 250mb soon!)

GMail is a free mail service from Google. Gmail name comes from "GigaMail" or "GoogleMail", donno exactly
Momentanly just the ppl who got invitations have an accont, but in the future will be avaiable for all people over the world...
