> P900 update problem

Hi,
I've just got a shiney new P900, and I am trying to update to the lastest firmware. However, whenever I get to the stage where the update program turns the phone on and then off again, I get the message "Error in communication with device", and the installation stops.
I've tried searching for posts on this, and tried out various suggestions in them:, reinstalling all of the software, trying different USB ports, disabling anti virus,firewall etc, I've tried lowering internet explorer's privacy options, I've tried using firefox, and I'm still having no luck.
Anyone got any bright ideas?
