Hi

I have an S700i, and it syncs with Outlook 2003 fine using SE SyncStation - but I have a small problem. The address field it brings over from Outlook is the "Business address" for the contact, and not the "Mailing address" (logical choice).

Have checked the SE Support pages, and yes it's doing what it should, but me being me would like to be able to choose between having the "Home address" or "Mailing Address"

Does anyone know of any workarounds? (and please don't suggest I change all my Outlook contact addresses to be Business!!)

Alternatlively - does anyone know of an alternate Sync product that does let you choose what fields map to the fixed ones in the phone?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Tone

P.S. - My Nokia 6600 Sync software used to do it - DOH !

I too am perplexed at why the SE software is not choosing the logical "this is the mailing address" tag rather than just choosing the "business address" every time and I, like you, don't really want to change all mailing addresses to business (especially as I often have both business and personal).

I am going to look for alternative products and will update this thread if I find anything suitable.

regards
Raf

I am having the same problem with sync of address from Outlook Contacts to S700i. Only the Business address will copy. Home address does not copy.

Also if there is more than one line in the "Street" field only the first line copies. Maybe if I put all in one line it will work possibly with a number of characters limit? I would prefer not to hvae to alter 400 addresses to to get sync especially as the I want to keep separate lines for printing addresses from Outlook.

I am using the Windows XP driver from XP SP2 for Bluetooth (which syncs very reliably) with latest Sony Ericsson sync software from their web site.
