Hey guys,
i already searched for this question, but couldnīt find anything about it.
Is it possible to use the Sony Memory Stick Select 2x128MB, you know this one:
I know the manual says the S700i doesnīt "notice" the MagicGate function, but this one is not a PRO Stick so maybe it works...

Well, i could not figure out if it is a DUO, DUO PRO or whatever, but the switching would not be the problem, you can use one side for MP3 and the other for photos, videos etc. for example.
I still wait for the answer from the SonyEricsson support service, maybe they donīt know ...

The S700i only takes Memory Stick Duo. That is not it.
Those sticks were made for devices that could only take up to a certain storage amount, so you could have 2 cards in one.

in the case of the memory stick select shown in this thread it will NOT work in the S700 because this is a full size memory stick and not the smaller memory stick DUO that p800, p900, p910 and s700 phones use as standard
there are no memory stick DUO select on the market (yet)
