I just got my P900, i installed Sman and a copule of other programs.
there is this task "EiksrvBackdrop" which is an hidden task. I can't end the task and it takes up about 584kb - 890kb.
is there any way i can end the task and if it is critical to the phone , what does it do

That is normal. I don't know exactly what it is but it's to do with the normal running of the phone.
You are better just leaving most of the hidden tasks alone

I would say all of the hidden tasks. Try changing your backgrounds to "None" and see if it is still running, or at least lower memory usage. Then at least you'd know that it was to do with the menu backgrounds and themes etc
