Was just wondering if the S700i had any features that were superior to the P910. I would guess the 1.3mp cam, but I can't seem to find how many pixels the P910's cam is....or whether it's CMOS or CCD, or.....

And how about the screen?

Appreciate any help. Thanks!

The s700i has a 1.3 mp cam CCD

P910i is a VGA CAM

In my opinion the screen on the S700i is much clearer and sharper then the P910i

I dont use any of them, but a touch screen on s7 would give the perfect solution for individual usage. This message was posted from a T68i

The only thing the S700 has over the P910 is the cam

The S700 has an approx 1248 x 960 camera resolution.

The P910 has a regular 640 x 480 camera resolution... as do the P800 and P900.

Other than that, the P910 is better than the S700.

It's all a matter of need. The S700 is a much better phone/cam combo. The P910 is a better phone/pda combo.

I don't know if the S700 supports the new PRO Duo sticks though.

S700 does nt support PRO duo sticks. Only upcioming phone that des so far appears to be the V800.

@boba

I don't see what great advantage a touchscreen would bring to the S700; without smartphone capabilities I don't think that it needs it.

if it had a touchscreen we could lose the swivel and interior keypad though... it would essentially be just screen on one side and cam on the other. I do see advantages with that........ but how do we make a phonecall with it?
