You should try using a BT headset and BT GPS at the same time, with the P910i screen light on for navigation.

You will actually (well not quite) see the battery level decrease.

if b/t is on, idle 24/7, the bat consumption will increase around 3% daily, which pass almost unnoticed

if b/t is used with paired devices (like headset) bat cons will increase more than 3-4%, depending on headset usage

nevertheless i have also b/t on and discoverable almost 24/7

If u charge it in on mode, take it off the cradle when batt full. Btw t68i was the last fone with automatic bt option, to save batt life, the bt turned on at a call and automatic off at the end of it. This message was posted from a T68i

Why would you leave your BT on in discoverable mode all the time? Doesn't that both increase battery usage and leave your phone potentially open to intruders? What's the advantage?

yeah, unless required i think the bt option should be turned off, to save battery and to save u from bluesnarfing.
